Job summary

Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County is seeking an experienced SCADA/Instrumentation technician to perform intermediate technical work in installing, maintaining, and repairing process measurement and control systems, power distribution, continuous emissions monitoring, and related automation equipment at treatment plants and pumping stations.

Qualifications

• Associates/Technical degree in electronics, electrical instrumentation, computerized controls, or related field, with minimal experience.
• Valid driver's license in North Carolina.
• Knowledge of installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical/electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair process measurement and control systems and related automation equipment at treatment plants and pumping stations.
• Maintain electrical distribution and instrumentation systems and monitor continuous emissions systems.
• Read drawings and schematics and communicate effectively with team members and engineers.
