Job summary

The Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County is seeking an experienced SCADA/Instrumentation Technician to install, maintain, and repair process measurement and control systems at treatment plants and pumping stations.

The ideal candidate has an Associates/Technical degree in electronics or related field, knowledge of electrical power distribution, instrumentation, and the ability to read drawings and schematics. A valid North Carolina driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate/Technical degree in electronics, electrical instrumentation, computerized controls, or related field.
• Minimal experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems.
• Valid driver’s license in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair process measurements and control systems.
• Work under the supervision of the SCADA/Instrumentation Supervisor.
• Read drawings, sketches, and schematics; complete records and reports.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and engineers.
