Job summary

City of Aurora is seeking a SCADA Instrumentation Lead to provide QA/QC support on water and wastewater projects and to lead instrumentation and controls technicians. You will review plans, guide project delivery, and assist with FAT/SAT testing and programming integration.

The role requires coordinating with the SCADA team, supervising I&C staff, and ensuring reliability of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in City facilities. An on-call rotation is included.

Qualifications

• QA/QC experience on water/wastewater projects.
• Ability to provide training and mentoring to I&C staff.
• Experience reviewing instrumentation plans and guiding integration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, calibration, and maintenance of I&C equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process optimization.
• Assist with budget planning and staff training plans.
• Schedule testing for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Mentor I&C staff and supervise during supervisor absence.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Support system upgrades and new installations.
