The City of Aurora is seeking a SCADA Instrumentation & Control Lead to oversee installation, testing, calibration, and maintenance of electrical power systems and instrumentation for Aurora Water facilities. You will guide I&C technicians, review instrumentation plans, and assist in training and project checkouts, including FAT/SAT.
A strong background in PLC/OIT programming and SCADA systems is required. The role demands leadership, ability to work across teams, and readiness for on-call
Qualifications
- Four (4) years of experience in instrumentation, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of electrical power systems, instrumentation, and control equipment.
- Colorado Driver's License with a good driving history.
- ISA CCST certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of ISA testing window.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC, process control, electronics, and PLC/OIT programming.
Responsabilités
- Oversee installation, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of electrical power systems and instrumentation in designated area.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process optimization and automation.
- Mentor and supervise I&C staff; participate in training development.
- Support system upgrades, new installations, and project checkouts for FAT/SAT testing.
- Read and interpret one-lines and P&ID drawings; ensure SCADA system reliability.
