Job summary
Targa Resources in Texas seeks a SCADA/EFM Systems Technician to support 24x7 data collection across Delaware and Midland Basin. You will collaborate with measurement, field OPS/Plant OPS and IT to ensure reliable data, and to support field and office communications including PLC maintenance.
The role covers installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of SCADA/EFM networks, DCS/PLC, HMI, RTUs, and associated protocols (Modbus, CIP).
Qualifications
- Proven experience with SCADA/EFM data collection and field support.
- Knowledge of PLC/RTU/DCS troubleshooting and network protocols.
- Experience with hardware maintenance in oil/gas environments.
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to on-call requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage various SCADA related field projects.
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain SCADA/EFM communications systems.
- Troubleshoot compressor panel communications and PLC issues.
- Work with measurement to retrieve data and support installations.
- Support DCS/PLC, SCADA, HMI, RTUs and related protocols.
