Job summary

Mach-Resource is seeking a Field Communications / SCADA Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot field communications supporting oil and gas operations across remote sites. You will work with Operations, IT, and SCADA teams to diagnose problems from RF equipment to Ethernet networks and respond to outages while following safety policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with RF, SCADA, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Strong troubleshooting and ability to work independently in remote locations.
Working knowledge of RF, SCADA, telemetry or similar systems.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and network diagrams.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain RF communication equipment, antennas, coax, and point-to-point systems.
Diagnose problems using SCADA data, RF tools, and network monitoring software.
Troubleshoot TCP/IP, Ethernet networks, VLANs, and basic connectivity.
Maintain DC power systems including batteries, solar, controllers, and power supplies.
Document configurations, network information, site data, and repairs.
Respond to outages and participate in on-call rotation.
Follow safety policies and regulatory requirements.
