Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking an Optimization Tech to analyze real-time data via Xspoc, SCADA, and optimize well performance across producing and underperforming wells. You will collaborate with engineers, operators, and foremen to improve operations and safety.

With 7+ years in E&P or related fields, you will lead data-driven improvements, develop SOPs, mentor juniors, and ensure regulatory compliance while reducing costs and downtime in field operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in E&P operations.
• Specializes in Lease Operations, Process Optimization, Equipment Operations and Repair, or related field.
• Education: High School Diploma, GED or higher; commensurate work experience.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis and optimization using SCADA to support real-time decision making.
• Collaborate with engineers, foremen, and lease operators to optimize well performance.
• Manage minor subsurface maintenance and conduct dynamometer tests, fluid shots, and FBHP surveys as required.
• Provide expertise in field operations, artificial lift, and surface facility equipment operation and repair.
• Ensure regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop and implement SOPs for maintenance processes and safe operations.
• Mentor and train junior staff on artificial lift optimization and production operations.
• Serve as primary field operations contact during troubleshooting and emergencies.
