Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a Professional Service Engineer to deploy and support Production & Automation software for Oil & Gas customers. You will install, upgrade, and configure SCADA/Production Optimization systems, build user interfaces, reports, and workflows to optimize field operations.

You will diagnose issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with Development to implement fixes. Strong scripting and customer-facing communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
• 2-5+ years of experience in similar role troubleshooting hardware/software.
• Experience in Oil & Gas – Production, Artificial Lift.
• Valid driver's license; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and configure SCADA and Production Optimization Systems.
• Build screens, workflows and reports to support operations.
• Provide custom solutions and system integration using scripts and documentation.
• Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate with Development as needed.
• Troubleshoot SCADA hardware and radio communications; train users.
