Job summary

Devon is seeking an experienced Optimization Operator to analyze real-time SCADA data and optimize well performance. You will collaborate with engineers and foremen, perform routine subsurface maintenance, and conduct dynamometer surveys as needed.

The role requires 5+ years in oilfield operations, strong problem-solving skills, and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. Candidates will contribute to efficiency and cost reductions while ensuring safe operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of relevant E&P operational experience, preferably in Lease Operations, Process Optimization, Equipment Operations and Repair.
• Experience with SCADA and field optimization workflows.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in oilfield operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes real-time SCADA data to enable informed decisions and control complex processes.
• Collaborates with Engineers, DSC/PA, Foremen, and Lease Operators on wells and lease activities.
• Performs minor subsurface well maintenance and field tests.
• Acts as SME for field operations, including lift systems and surface facilities.
• Maintains regulatory, environmental and safety compliance in coordination with supervisors.
• Participates in training to enhance lease site operations skills.
• Identifies and reports unsafe conditions and contributes to a safe work environment.
