SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a seasoned commissioning engineer to support hot commissioning of SCADA, fiber, Ethernet, and device networks on utility-scale solar projects.

This hybrid role requires on-site work at job sites with some remote collaboration; details discussed during interview. You will interpret commissioning plans, coordinate with engineering and QA, perform pre- and post-commissioning tests, document results, and ensure adherence to NFPA/NEC, IEEE, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commissioning utility-scale solar projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers.
• Strong knowledge of networking and communications systems.
• Ability to interpret Electrical and Mechanical Drawings/Schematics
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Interpret and implement site commissioning plans and adhere to schedules.
• Coordinate with project teams to align on commissioning activities.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests and document results.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA/NEC and IEEE/API standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance of SCADA and site networks.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports with test results and corrective actions.
