Duke Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Engineering Technologist I to support real-time Critical Infrastructure Networks (CIN) for gas pipeline operations. You will apply developing technical expertise, work under high direction, and grow skills while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Key duties include supporting SCADA and data historians, field equipment, and on-call incident response, with the On-call rotation.

Formación

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In lieu of Associate degree, High School/GED with 2 years related work experience.
• This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Support SCADA/LVRMR systems and interfaces for CIN in pipelines.
• Provide first-level engineering support for SCADA operations including design, configuration, data integrity and security.
• Configure and maintain field automation equipment in accordance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Travel 5-15% of the time for field visits and project coordination.
