Qualifications

• BS in ME/EE or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus 8 years of relevant experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, planning, evaluation, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance of University automation / control systems.
• Operate and maintain PLCs and DDC devices that support district energy and other facility automation systems.
• Monitor facility systems to ensure efficient operation and data flow between software and hardware.
• Team with other engineering disciplines and commissioning agents to ensure projects meet guidelines.
• Develop and execute control system training programs for staff.
• Collaborate with FMD Engineering staff, Vendors, FMD Trades on improvements.
• Update control logic and source code when necessary.
