Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking an Engineering Technologist I to support real-time Critical Infrastructure Networks and pipeline-related systems. You will apply developing technical expertise and provide oversight with high direction and close supervision.

You will work on maintaining SCADA, data historians, and field equipment across multiple assets, ensuring security, disaster recovery, and 24/7 system availability.

Qualifications

• Two paths: an associate degree in Engineering Technology or a High School/GED with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the utility industry is preferred.
• Basic understanding of project management principles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and oversight for SCADA, CIN, and related control systems.
• Coordinate system upgrades, maintenance, and security in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in design, migration planning, and documentation of controls and interfaces.
