Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of birth and full-spectrum doulas to educate and guide families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, with virtual and in-person work and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Certification and training as a birth and/or full-spectrum doula.
• Experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
• Strong verbal and written communication with diverse families.

Responsibilities

• Educate and guide expecting and new families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
• Help improve birth outcomes by supporting families and empowering them.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation for visits and birth support.
• Follow privacy, quality, and compliance standards for Pomelo services.
