Job summary

Santiam Hospital & Clinics is seeking a Single Billing Office Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle team on-site in Stayton, Oregon. You will handle patient billing inquiries, support financial assistance processes, and work closely with SBO colleagues to keep accounts current.

The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, non-exempt, with competitive benefits and a focus on compliance and compassionate service. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential to help our patients navigate

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle SBO tasks and customer relations for patient accounts.
• Coordinate with collection agencies for account conversions to bad debt when needed.
• Respond to queries via the hospital health information management system.
• Facilitate patient participation in financial assistance programs while complying with regulations.
• Support routine SBO processes such as daily deposits and returned mail.

Who You’ll Join:Come be a part of Santiam Hospital & Clinics dedicated Revenue Cycle department as our new Single Billing Office Specialist (SBO). In this crucial role, you will be on the front lines of customer relations, resolving complex patient billing inquiries, and guiding individuals through financial assistance applications in strict compliance with all state and federal regulations.If you are seeking a challenging and rewarding position, and possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to work effectively within a team environment, then we want to hear from you!Position Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Non-Exempt, On-Site.
