Job summary

Primis Bank in Ashland, VA seeks a Loan Closure Specialist to handle the complete closing process for SBA and conventional loans, including pipeline management and coordinating closings.

You will prepare and review complex loan documents, coordinate with borrowers, title companies and attorneys, verify signatures and dates, and ensure filings are complete and accurate. You will also track loan volumes for pipeline reports.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years SBA loan closing or related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SBA SOP guidelines and closing procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Process loan files to meet required criteria in a timely manner.
• Prepare documentation for commercial and SBA loans, renewals, modifications and waivers.
• Coordinate with borrowers, title companies and attorneys to schedule closings and prepare documents.
• Ensure all loan documents are complete, accurate and properly filed.
