Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. in Florida or Michigan is seeking an SBA Loan Closer to manage loan closings from approval to funding. You will prepare SBA forms, ensure SOP compliance, and coordinate with attorneys, borrowers and partners to close loans smoothly.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple time-sensitive tasks while collaborating with loan officers and external parties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Three years SBA loan closing experience.
• Three years loan documentation experience.
• Organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned loan files and obtain required information for closing.
• Input and maintain files in SBA core processing system.
• Prepare and review SBA Authorization for accuracy and SOP compliance; ensure terms match approvals.
• Coordinate closing with attorneys, borrowers, and others, including title insurance considerations.
• Participate in loan closing and disburse loan proceeds per SBA SOP.
• Complete initial audit of loan file and coordinate transfer to loan operations.
• Maintain knowledge of SBA principles, procedures, compliance requirements and policies.
