Job summary

City National Bank of Florida is seeking an SBA Business Development Officer to drive SBA 7a, 504, and USDA loan opportunities and deposit growth in the local market. You will build relationships, perform targeted research, and deliver customized presentations to prospective clients, while coordinating with internal teams to close loans and expand the client base.

The role emphasizes strategic outreach, market cadence, and independent judgment to create effective business development strategies

Qualifications

2-4 years experience in SBA 7a & 504 lending, selling business related financial services products, or a combination of both.
5-7 years proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals in financial services, with business development experience.
Proven experience in prospecting, offering financial products and services, and referring clients.
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with prospects and partners.
Strong communication skills and ability to present complex financial concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

Meets and exceeds individual sales goals while following policies and compliance.
Establishes SBA development cadence in the marketplace with research and tailored presentations.
Plan and execute call strategies and client retention calls.
Prospect for new clients and initiate outbound campaigns.
Network at relevant events and grow COI referrals.
Manage relationships with internal leaders and external vendors for SBA processes.
Facilitate sale and execution of SBA guarantees and loan closings.
