Accion Opportunity Fund is seeking an SBA Business Development Officer to originate SBA 7(a) loans up to $350,000 by growing referral partnerships and COIs. The role emphasizes relationship-building with professionals across healthcare, food & beverage, trade, and manufacturing sectors to drive opportunities.

The candidate should have deep SBA lending experience, a proven business development track record, and a broad COI network to become a trusted advisor to business owners and partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SBA lending, commercial banking, or small business lending.
• Proven success originating SBA 7(a) loans and exceeding production goals.
• Established COIs network generating referral opportunities.
• Strong relationships within healthcare, food & beverage, trade, and manufacturing industries.
• Understanding SBA lending programs, credit analysis, and loan structuring.

Responsibilities

• Source and close SBA 7(a) loans up to $350,000 for small business owners.
• Develop and execute a disciplined sales strategy to meet production goals.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through referrals and COIs.
• Guide borrowers through financing from initial consultation to closing.
• Maintain high conversion ratios with excellent customer experience.
