Job summary

First Service Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Government Guaranteed Loan Assistant to support SBA, USDA, and other government-guaranteed loan programs. The role covers origination, processing, documentation, and servicing, with close collaboration with lenders, borrowers, and third-party partners.

You will help ensure loans are completed accurately and in compliance with bank policies and government program requirements, serving Mountain View or Greenbrier Arkansas markets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Working knowledge of web-based technology.
• Strong analytical and problem-saving skills.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Detail-oriented and service-focused.
• College degree in related field preferred.
• Experience in loan operations or processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enters and maintains data for new, renewed, and modified loans.
• Handles loan requests including new loans, renewals, modifications, and extensions.
• Works directly with Loan Operations & Loan Officers for accurate processing.
• Obtains required loan documentation from customers.
• Clears loan exceptions weekly.
• Gathers documents for annual loan reviews.
• Administers and services active loans.
• Assists with processing loan payments, payoffs, and advances.
• Maintains knowledge of bank loan policy and regulations.
