Job summary

Qualifications

• Evaluate loan requests to identify purpose, risk elements, and collateral adequacy.
• Assess liquidity, management quality, market position, industry and climate to estimate profitability.
• Analyze credit data, financial statements, and tax returns to determine creditworthiness and risk.
• Prepare credit write-ups and liaise with Credit partners to structure extensions of credit.

Responsibilities

• Input, interpret, and assess risk rating model output and client data to develop a credit recommendation.
• Develop credit write-ups for loan structuring decisions within delegated authority or escalate for higher approval.
• Identify deteriorating credits early and provide recommendations for restructuring.
• Initiate annual reviews and ensure loan documentation matches approved terms.
• Create and maintain credit files and build spreadsheets for underwriting analysis.
• Provide financial analysis and portfolio administration to maintain accurate risk ratings.
