Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years in credit underwriting or credit risk review, with 4 years of management experience.
• Strong understanding of credit risk across industries and products.
• Experience developing and facilitating credit training programs.
• Proven leadership and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication with internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SBA approval function and maintain centralized loan approval process.
• Review and decision loans within authority, assess risk and set grades.
• Provide leadership and development to loan officers; set performance expectations.
• Ensure compliance with credit policy and conduct training onboarding for sales and underwriting teams.
• Assist with portfolio management to meet risk targets and maintain loan yield.
