Job summary

Open Bank is seeking an SBA Credit Analyst in La Mirada, CA to evaluate and process SBA loan files. The role involves credit analysis, underwriting, and coordination of loan documentation with borrowers and management.

Responsibilities include site visits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and timely signing of documents. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with preferred experience in business lending or banking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in business lending or banking preferred, but not required.
• Strong understanding of lending tasks, regulation, and loan documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, analyze, underwriting, document, and process lending products and loan files.
• Perform credit analysis and determine SBA eligibility; communicate with management.
• Visit new and existing borrowers for site visits.
• Prepare and review files for policy, regulatory, and documentation compliance (including BSA and equal credit).
• Prepare documents and coordinate signing of loan paperwork; notarization where applicable.
