Job summary

Interfor is hiring for the Sawmill Production Team in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Starting pay is $19.32 per hour with the potential to grow to $28.93 per hour based on skill and experience.

Positions include general labor, machine operator, and forklift operator roles. The team focuses on safety and reliability while growing across multiple mill operations at this site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent preferred.
• Prior manufacturing/warehouse/lumber operations experience preferred.
• Able and willing to work in varying seasonal climate conditions.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Physical requirements: Walking, standing, climbing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete clean-up and ground maintenance of regularly assigned area.
• Assist with keeping a steady flow of lumber throughout the mill by straightening lumber cross-ups using a pickaxe or chain saw, as necessary.
• Develop skills across various machine centers and take on new responsibilities as you grow within the company.
• Perform any other work-related task deemed necessary by the supervisor.
