Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous supervisory experience in a sawmill, manufacturing, or industrial environment is required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Working knowledge of sawmill operations, production processes, and equipment.
• Basic computer and reporting skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily sawmill production activities.
• Lead and support production employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor workflow, equipment performance, and production output.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Train, coach, and develop team members on equipment operation and work procedures.
• Communicate production goals, schedules, and operational updates to employees.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to minimize downtime and address equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate production and operational records.
• Promote housekeeping, organization, and safe work practices throughout the facility.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
