Responsibilities

• Investigate accidents and near-misses; prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Ensure safety equipment and machinery are properly maintained and inspected.
• Monitor safety performance and maintain training/incident records.
• Lead safety meetings and coordinate communication of safety issues.
• Stay updated on safety laws and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Promote safety culture and employee involvement.
• Collaborate with managers to align safety goals with production.
• Conduct emergency preparedness drills and liaise with regulators/consultants.
• Oversee accident reporting systems and workers’ compensation processes with HR.
