Job summary

The Lumber Manufactory, Inc. is hiring Machine Operators to run saws, conveyors, and sorting equipment at our New Albany mill in Mississippi. You will feed, align, and monitor logs and lumber, ensuring quality and continuous production.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial, manufacturing, or sawmill equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, physical environment.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the mill.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate sawmill machinery, conveyors, and sorting systems.
• Feed and align logs, adjust settings to keep production running smoothly.
• Check logs and lumber for quality as they move through the line.
• Handle routine upkeep and minor fixes, report bigger issues to maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout procedures.
