Job summary

The Lumber Manufactory, Inc. is seeking Equipment Operators for our New Albany, Mississippi mill and yard. You will run loaders, forklifts, and related gear to move logs and lumber, keeping the yard organized and material flowing.

Training and certification are provided; starting pay is $16+ per hour, with multiple shifts available. We offer comprehensive benefits and a path to grow with a modern, essential industry leader.

Qualifications

• Experience running heavy equipment in industrial, construction, or yard settings.
• Equipment operator certification is a plus.
• Strong safety habits and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Dependable attendance, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

The Lumber Manufactory (TLM) is building the future of sustainable lumber with next-generation sawmill technology. We design and operate state-of-the-art modular sawmills that produce high-grade dimensional wood products with greater efficiency and less waste. Backed by leading investors including Cantos, Slow Ventures, Banter Capital, Humba Ventures, and Ravelin Capital.

We’re hiring Equipment Operators to run the heavy equipment that keeps logs and lumber moving through our New Albany mill and yard. If you’ve run loaders or other heavy machinery and take pride in doing it safely, we want to talk to you.

What you’ll do

• Operate loaders, forklifts, and other yard equipment to move logs and lumber

• Load and unload trucks, and keep the yard organized

• Do daily inspections and routine checks on your equipment

• Work with production and yard crews to keep material flowing

Schedule and pay: Full-time. Multiple shifts available, including days. We’ll talk through what works for you during your interview. Starting pay $16+/hr. Training and certification provided.

Location: On site at our mill in New Albany, Mississippi.
