Job summary

Great South Timber & Lumber LLC is seeking a skilled Sawmill Maintenance/Millwright to join our team. This role maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and installs equipment used in sawmill operations to ensure safe and efficient production.

The ideal candidate has experience with industrial machinery, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors and bearings, and a commitment to workplace safety. Preventive maintenance and emergency repairs are essential.

Qualifications

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment used in our sawmill operations to ensure safe and efficient production.
Experience working with industrial machinery, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, bearings, and other mechanical equipment.
Preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and emergency repairs will be essential parts of this role.
Experience in industrial maintenance is required, and previous sawmill, manufacturing, or millwright experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment used in sawmill operations to ensure safe and efficient production.
Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
Perform emergency repairs as needed and support a stable and growing industry.
