Job summary

Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To operate saw and associated equipment in a safe and productive manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The saw operator will ensure that the correct saw blades are being used when operating the machine.
• The operator will make all machine adjustments to ensure each particular product is being ran to specification.
• The operator will check the length of the material and record readings based on the item.
• All material must be weighed and recorded in to the MES system and quality record.
• The operator will keep work areas in and around the saw machine clean and orderly.
• The operator is responsible for the quality of the finished product.
• The operator will perform other duties as directed by management.

This is a 3rd Shift position. Hours are 8pm-6am.

Starting wage is based on experience and skill level.
