Job summary

Marmon Holdings is seeking a 3rd shift Saw Operator in Missouri. You will operate saws and related equipment safely and efficiently to meet product specifications.

Responsibilities include selecting correct blades, adjusting machines, recording lengths and weights in the MES system, and maintaining a clean work area. The starting wage depends on experience, with additional screening after conditional offers.

• Operate saw and related equipment safely and productively.
• Select correct saw blades for each job.
• Make machine adjustments to run products to specification.
• Check material length and record readings.
• Weigh and record material in the MES system and quality records.
• Keep work areas around the saw clean and orderly.
• Ensure quality of the finished product.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
• 3rd shift hours: 8pm–6am; starting wage based on experience.
• Complete additional job-related screening after conditional offer.

Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION

To operate saw and associated equipment in a safe and productive manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The saw operator will ensure that the correct saw blades are being used when operating the machine.

The operator will make all machine adjustments to ensure each particular product is being ran to specification.

The operator will check the length of the material and record readings based on the item.

All material must be weighed and recorded in to the MES system and quality record.

The operator will keep work areas in and around the saw machine clean and orderly.

The operator is responsible for the quality of the finished product.

The operator will perform other duties as directed by management.

This is a 3rd Shift position. Hours are 8pm-6am. Starting wage is based on experience and skill level.
