Job summary
Sunland Asphalt, LLC in Denver, CO, seeks a Saw Cutter - Asphalt and Concrete to operate concrete and asphalt saws, delivering precise cuts on roads, curbs, sidewalks, and ramps. You will follow safety protocols and work with foremen and operators to integrate cutting tasks with site operations.
The ideal candidate has experience with various sawing equipment, a strong safety record, and the physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform demanding work outdoors in all weather.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience operating concrete/asphalt cutting equipment preferred.
- Ability to work safely and follow procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate concrete/asphalt saws to cut roads, curbs, sidewalks, and ramps.
- Assess cutting depth and blade performance; adjust as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and use PPE; monitor site hazards.
- Collaborate with foremen and operators to integrate cutting tasks.
- Document time, materials, and maintenance in logs; track feet or square feet.
- Maintain cutting accuracy, tool maintenance, and tool uptime.
