Job summary
Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC is seeking a Saw Machine Operator to cut aluminum, stainless steel, engineering plastics, and other alloys to spec. Products include aerospace and commercial market components, with a range of CNC and band saw equipment.
Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC and manual machinery, reading specifications, inspecting tolerances with micrometers and calipers, and ensuring accuracy throughout production. Shift options available.
Qualifications
- Solid math skills including measuring with fractions and decimals.
- Familiar with ERP systems.
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop and stretch; lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual and CNC machinery to cut aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.
- Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Use micrometers and calipers to inspect dimensions and tolerances.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy; continually measure work pieces.
- Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company goals.
