Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery that cuts metal.
• Math skills including measuring with fractions and decimals.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiar with basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and CNC machinery to cut aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Use micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
• Monitor operation to maintain accuracy throughout cutting.
• Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements.
