Job summary

Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC in Bensalem, PA is seeking a Saw Machine Operator to cut bar stock of aluminum, stainless steel and other alloys in the Cut Extrusions department to meet customer specifications. You will operate manual or CNC saws, read job specs, and use precision tools to maintain dimensional accuracy while contributing to a safety‑conscious, team‑oriented work environment.

Training is provided; shifts vary and include days and evenings with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• Math and measuring skills including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
• Lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Experience using calipers.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual or CNC machines to accurately cut material for customer orders.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Use micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.
• Operate and monitor machine operation for continued accuracy.
• continually measure work piece dimensions to assure constant specification accuracy throughout machine operation.
• Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
• Work with the production supervisor to ensure accuracy of customer requirements.
• Prioritize workload to meet customer delivery requirements and company performance goals.

Hadco is hiring a Saw Machine Operator in our Bensalem, PA facility. You will be responsible for cutting bar stock of aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys in the Cut Extrusions department to meet customer specifications.

Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering grade plastics. Hadco products include plate, sheet, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets.

Work Schedule

Training – New Saw Operators will typically complete a period of training and be available to work Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Once trained, you will work the shift you were hired for.

Day Shifts – Typically run 4 to 5 days a week and until 6 or 7pm, and often include a Saturday or Sunday (i.e. Sunday-Wednesday).

Evening Shifts – Typically Monday-Friday 6pm-3am.

• Work directly with the production supervisor to ensure accuracy of customer requirements.
• Prioritize workload to meet customer delivery requirements and company performance goals.
