Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in Savannah seeks a Distribution Operations Manager to oversee the Regional Distribution Center's daily operations.

You will lead a team of about 20 associates across two shifts, guiding safety, quality of service, and cost efficiency while meeting customer expectations. This role requires coordinating with Sales and Customer Service, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with logistics experience as stated in the job ad.
• Ability to coach and develop leadership teams to improve performance.
• Experience guiding teams toward shared operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RDC performance, safety, customer experience, and cost efficiency.
• Provide direction to associates across all shifts and remove barriers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve exceptions.
• Report facility performance to the Director and pursue improvements.
• Maintain DOT compliance and safe working conditions.
• Motivate staff and implement process improvements.
