Snap Tire Inc. in Georgia seeks an Assistant Distribution Center Manager to partner with the DC Manager in overseeing operational and administrative tasks for the DC. The role focuses on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency while coaching teams to improve performance.

The candidate will drive continuous improvement, manage inventories, and ensure regulatory compliance across OSHA, DOT, and related agencies, while leading a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Experience leading distribution center operations or warehouse teams.
• Experience with OSHA, DOT, ADA and related regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe and compliant work environment with focus on reducing OSHA incidents.
• Serve as on-site expert for inventory control, SOP adherence, and audits; process returns and credits.
• Lead drivers and warehouse staff to ensure on-time, complete deliveries and high service levels.
• Review and optimize DC cost productivity; manage labor and delivery costs to meet budgets.
• Develop talent via recruitment, training, succession planning, and performance management.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to address issues and foster continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, ADA and other regulatory agencies.
