Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Operations Manager to oversee the Regional Distribution Center in Savannah, GA.

You will lead a team of about 20 associates across two shifts, guiding daily operations from receiving to delivering flooring products throughout Georgia and South Carolina. You will drive safety, cost efficiency, and service standards while collaborating with Sales and Customer Service to resolve exceptions and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of logistics experience; or associate degree and 3+ years of logistics experience; or HS diploma/GED with 5–7 years of logistics management.
• Experience guiding hourly associates toward shared goals.
• Coaching and developing leadership teams to improve performance and efficiency.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and transportation regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall performance of the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) across shifts, ensuring safety, customer experience, and cost efficiency.
• Provide clear direction to associates, remove barriers, and promote daily execution.
• Coach and develop team, reinforce performance expectations, and drive engagement.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve exceptions and maintain service levels.
• Report facility performance to the Director of Regional Operations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure DOT compliance.
