The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Saute Cook to join our kitchen team. You will uphold high standards of dish quality and consistency while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in kitchen preparation and line cook duties.
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling.
• Basic food cost knowledge.
• Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and restaurant staff.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately and efficiently prepare the highest quality cuisine for our guests; comply with standard portion sizes and kitchen policies.
• Take 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
• Adhere to all applicable safety, cleanliness and sanitation regulations.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station including prep areas, grills, fryers and cold storage.
• Prepare items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other methods by portioning, battering and seasoning.
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
• Close the kitchen properly and follow closing checklists; assist others in closing.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
