Job summary

Buck & Rider, Phoenix's acclaimed seafood eatery and oyster bar, seeks a line cook to join our elite team. You will prepare seafood, steak, sushi and vegetable dishes, while maintaining high cleanliness and station organization in a fast-paced, refined environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a line cook or grill cook in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Familiarity with seafood and steak preparation is valued; eagerness to learn.
• Ability to read recipes, follow directions and adapt on the fly.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook seafood, steak, sushi, and vegetable dishes according to recipe and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and station organization at all times.
• Execute dishes with precision, speed, and visual excellence.
• Read orders accurately and accommodate modifications.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams; work through high-volume shifts.
• Follow management direction and endure long shifts.
