Nick's Fish House in Baltimore is seeking a Line Cook to join our waterfront kitchen. You will prepare dishes across grill, fry, and salads stations, maintaining quality and speed to meet our high standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cooking experience in a high-volume hospitality setting.
• ServSafe certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of proper food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock kitchen stations according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare and cook menu items following recipes, portion control, and presentation specifications.
• Maintain fast, accurate service to ensure all dishes meet Nick's quality standards.
• Assist with prep work, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, stocked, and organized throughout service.
• Practice safe food handling and maintain a sanitary workspace.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Work as part of a team-service approach, collaborating with colleagues to maintain a stress-free and engaging work environment.
