Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. in San Francisco is seeking a PCBA SMT Technician to program machines that assemble the printed circuit board assemblies for our satellites and ground support equipment.

You will develop reflow profiles, program paste printers and jet printers, create AOI programs, and support x-ray inspection and assembly processes with a cross-functional engineering team. This onsite role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace or related

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2+ years hands-on technician experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar industries.
Able to read assembly drawings, work instructions, and travelers.
Work with cross-functional engineering teams to support new developments.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to document future activities.
Must be onsite 5 days a week.
Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Develop reflow profiles that meet peak temperature and TAL requirements.
Program a paste printer, pick and place machine and jet printer and verify the programs are defect free.
Create automated optical inspection (AOI) programs.
Develop selective soldering (SLS) profiles and verify the programs with x-ray inspection.
Support wash, depanel and x-ray inspection processes.
