Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks a hands-on System Development Engineer to design for manufacturing and hardware/software development for hardware test. The role involves high-volume production optimization, cross-discipline collaboration, and rigorous data analysis using MATLAB and Python.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Programming in Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop test systems and automation for hardware and software.
• Perform software/hardware integration testing and data analysis.
• Review data using MATLAB, Python, or similar tools.
• Support release of software and hardware documents through gate reviews.
• Investigate yield issues during prototype and production builds.
• Write status/build reports for cross-functional review.
• Design test setups and hardware for subsystem validation of the satellite bus.
• Provide DFT feedback during the design process.
• Support production and integration of hardware subsystems.
• Develop procedures, maintenance plans, and troubleshooting guides.
