Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector in Mount Weather, Virginia, is seeking a NOC Specialist (Satellite) to monitor, troubleshoot and manage the DHS/FEMA satellite network on site. The role requires a minimum of five days per week at the customer site with occasional telework from home.

The successful candidate will operate Earth Station equipment, support the satellite hub, and provide monitoring and reporting on bandwidth and traffic, with potential travel and after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to obtain a Government issued Top Secret Security clearance.
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and configuring satellite networks.
• Ability to monitor and report on satellite hub station performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, configure and manage DHS FEMA voice, data and satellite network.
• Provide monitoring and reporting support to a satellite hub station.
• Operate Earth Station equipment, remote access servers and client systems.
• Provide bandwidth usage reports, traffic analysis and schedules as requested by the government task order.
