Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Teleport Engineering and Operations Engineer to install, monitor, test and maintain earth station telecommunications equipment and related RF/IF/baseband systems. You will support testing, diagnostics, and service turn-ups while coordinating with vendors, customers and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in Satellite Network Communications and IP Technologies, plus a valid driver’s license and willingness to cover 24x7 shifts including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of work experience.
• 3+ years of Satellite Network Communications experience.
• 3+ years of IP Technologies experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willing to work assigned shifts 24x7, including on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, test and maintain earth station telecom equipment per specifications.
• Perform testing and diagnostics with equipment, interpreting results and restoring services.
• Monitor vendor activities and remote teleports as needed.
• Manage network health and escalate issues per procedures.
• Coordinate testing and turn-up with involved parties.
• Work with government and international customers to maintain service levels.
