Job summary

A leading telecommunications provider is seeking a hands-on Satellite Communications Engineer to support live production satellite and teleport networks. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in satellite communications and IP networking technologies, alongside the ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment. Key responsibilities include installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment, performing diagnostics, and monitoring network performance. This role is fully onsite in Andover, ME, and offers flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in satellite communications, RF systems, or large-scale network operations.
• Willingness to work 24/7 rotational shifts including nights and weekends.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, test, and maintain telecommunications equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting using test and measurement tools.
• Support RF, IF, and baseband technologies across satellite networks.
• Monitor network performance and respond to alerts.
• Document procedures, issues, and resolutions accurately.
