Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking an IPT Lead to drive avionics product development from concept through production. You will manage cost, schedule, risk, and technical execution across multidisciplinary teams to meet mass, power, and communications objectives.

The role requires coordinating with program management, engineering, production and customers to deliver qualified subsystems on time and within budget. 100% onsite in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in engineering or related field.
• 9+ years in hardware/software development with D/V techniques.
• 1+ year as REA/IPT Lead or similar in space programs.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and customers.
• EVMS and project management fundamentals knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical and programmatic focal point for delivery of products to customers on time, on budget, on quality.
• Drive day-to-day team execution and upcoming milestone achievement.
• Coordinate with technical leads on scope, cost estimates, schedules and risk.
• Ensure performance budgets are defined, tracked and met.
• Contribute to EAC planning and EVMS updates.
• Lead RCCA closure and apply lessons learned to programs.
• Report status of subsystem deliverables to management and customers.
• Lead smooth transition from engineering to production.
• Oversee verification plans, results and system performance metrics.
