Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking an Engineering IPT Lead to manage schedule, budget, and technical metrics for one or more satellite programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, production, ATLO, and customers to deliver qualified subsystems on time and within budget.

The role supports Flight & Controls engineering with multiple teams (Astrodynamics, Autonomy, Guidance, Navigation, & Controls, Mission Analysis, Optics) and requires building

Qualifications

• 9+ years of work experience in a related field
• 3+ years of experience with program execution and/or technical leadership
• Familiarity with satellite analysis, design, test, and/or operation
• Experience leading engineering development teams and personnel
• Expertise in CAM fundamentals such as scope definition, cost/schedule management, performance/EAC management, risk tracking
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and TS/SCI clearance post-start

Responsibilities

• Drive team execution day-to-day and upcoming milestones
• Identify and mitigate risks; resolve blockers
• Coordinate with technical leads on scope, planning, cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessment
• Update EAC planners and provide Earned Value Management inputs
• Track Discrepancy Reports and close out open DRs
• Report status of key subsystem deliverables to program management and customers
