Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks an Engineering IPT Lead to manage schedule, budget, and technical metrics for control accounts across multiple satellite programs. You will coordinate with PMs, engineering teams, ATLO, and customers to deliver qualified subsystems on time and within budget.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, deep technical understanding, and CAM expertise; an on-site work arrangement is expected in California with U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field with 9+ years of related experience.
• 3+ years of experience with program execution or technical leadership.
• Familiarity with satellite analysis, design, test, and/or operation.
• Experience leading engineering development teams.
• Expertise in Control Account Management (CAM) fundamentals such as scope, cost/schedule management, performance/EAC management, risk tracking.

Responsibilities

• Drive team execution (day to day) and execution of upcoming milestones.
• Proactively participate in risk processes by identifying issues and risks early; work with engineering staff to resolve blockers.
• Coordinate with technical leads to manage scope, planning, proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and risk throughout the program lifecycle.
• Update program EAC planners, schedules, and provide Earned Value Management inputs, including variance analysis and corrective action planning.
• Track subsystem Discrepancy Reports and close out open DRs with respective engineering teams.
