Job summary

SES S.A Brazil is looking for a technician for on-site installation and maintenance of electronic and electromechanical equipment. This role requires 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and vocational training in Electronic Communications.

The technician will work a 24x7 shift and must be a US Person, responsible for ensuring high service standards and monitoring system operations using advanced test equipment.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in telecommunications.
• Candidates must be a US Person (includes US Citizen, Permanent Resident).
• Capable of working in 24x7 shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine on-site installation and maintenance of communications equipment.
• Monitor conditions of commercial services and terrestrial facilities.
• Prepare documentation and updates for service status changes.

Skills

Basic working knowledge of Satellite Earth Station technologies

General knowledge of ancillary plant systems

Interest in learning new technologies

Good organizational skills

Team player skills

Fluency in English

Education

Vocational training or equivalent technical education in Electronic Communications

Tools

Standard test equipment (spectrum analyzers, multimeters)
